Education- 13 years of training that includes medical school.
Certified by the American Board of Radiology

Radiologic Technician or Radiographer
Works in hospitals, physicians offices or imaging clinics by specializing in the the use of imaging equipment for completing diagnostic procedures on patients.
Education- Certificate, Associates degree or Bachelors degree in radiology technology.
Pass ARRT exam.

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
A medical professional who uses medical equipment that produces sound waves for non-invasive diagnostic procedures. There are a variety of specialty areas such as obstetrics, cardiovascular, neuro, pediatrics and more. Sonographers work in hospitals, private practice or mobile clinics.
Education- 1 year certificate up to 4 year Bachelors degree.

They work in hospitals, forensic laboratories, veterinary clinics and more. Supervises Medical Laboratory Technician.
