Doctor of Medicine- MD

Fully licensed physician are trained in diagnosing and treating illnesses and disorders and providing preventative care. Majority practice in Specializations.

Takes the U.S Medical Licensing Exam. 

Education: Doctors must complete four years of undergraduate school, four years of medical school and three to seven years of  residency. You can become an MD at The University Of Oklahoma.

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- DO

Holistic Approach to practicing medicine. Treating the patient as a whole. Take 400-500 hours of classes with emphasis on ,musculoskeletal system. Majority practice in primary care. 

Take the Comprehensive Osteopathic Licensing's examination. 

Education: You can complete a 3+1 program for Oklahoma students pursuing a career in Medicine at Oklahoma State University.

Average Salary: $140,000 - $270,000.

Chiropractor
Evaluated and treat patients neuromusculoskeletal system. They use spinal adjustment and manipulations as well as other clinical intervention to manage patients health concerns such has back and neck pain. They improve mobility and range of motion. 
Education:-  3 years of undergraduate and three to five years to complete Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Must pass exam. 
Average Salary: $68,000-$100,000.
You may become a Chiropractor at the University of Oklahoma or Oklahoma State University.

Physician's Assistant 

Licensed medical professional with advanced degree to provide direct patient care and working along side a physician. 

Education: Undergraduate degree and typically 1-3 years post graduate school.
